Petition to support BC's forest sector:

As a resident who cares deeply about the future of our province, I am calling on the Government of British Columbia to support the workers and families who power our forest sector. Forestry has built our communities for generations, and today, it remains one of our best solutions for a stronger, more resilient British Columbia. 

I am calling on the Government of British Columbia to treat our forests and forestry sector as a strategic asset that provides the family-sustaining jobs our communities depend on. 

To ensure a healthy future, we must urgently:

• Speed up access to economic wood
• Improve competitiveness and cost certainty
• Make BC Timber Sales work as intended
• Support meaningful partnerships with First Nations

British Columbians deserve a forest sector that works for everyone. We have the skill, the passion, and the resources; we now need the government to provide the clear path forward.
